Best habit tracker app for couples: seven listings sorted by who sees the streak
The best habit tracker app for couples depends on what you share: Better Us for one streak built for two, HabitShare for a free app where you pick what your partner sees, Daily Pact for a group challenge with check-ins. We read seven apps off their App Store listings on October 2, 2026 and sorted them by that choice. A streak only the two of you see and a leaderboard for a group are different products.
In short
A tracker built for two partners, with a shared streak that counts when both of you check in: Better Us. Free, and you choose which habits your partner sees: HabitShare.
A private group with check-ins, challenges and a leaderboard: Daily Pact. A shared workout goal with a small wager when you miss it: Sweatmates.
A game where parties of friends complete tasks together: Habitica. Shared projects and a family calendar, not streaks: Todoist and Cozi.
What the best habit tracker app for couples has to decide
Before any app, three choices decide which one fits two people.
- What do you share? One streak for both, each person’s own habits shown to the other, or a shared task list.
- Who else sees it? Some apps are private to two people, others put you in a group or a feed with friends.
- What does it cost? Several of these apps are free to start, and the App Store prints the paid plans as a list of purchases.
Alpacto is our own app, so it gets no row: our own listing would prove nothing. It appears once, at the end. For habit trackers in general, not only for two, see the habit tracker comparison.

The seven, one by one
Better Us
The only listing in the table written for two partners. Its description separates shared habits, which you each complete on your own, from together habits, where either of you can mark it done, and it promises no public sharing and no feed. The catch is the audience: 4 ratings, so the stars say almost nothing yet.
HabitShare
Its subtitle reads “Track Habits with Your Friends”, so it is not written for couples. The listing says you have total control over privacy: share exercise with a running club, other habits with family, or keep a habit fully private. It is free and rated 4.6 from 663, but its last build is from January 2023, the oldest in the table.
Daily Pact
Not only for couples: the listing names friends, couples and small groups doing a 30-day challenge. The cheapest paid plan in the table, $9.99 for a year, but 4 ratings.
Sweatmates
Narrower than a habit tracker: it tracks one habit, working out. You log each workout with a photo your partner sees, and if you miss the weekly goal you owe a simple wager such as buying dinner or doing a chore. Its price list prints ten lines of Sweatmates Pro, from $4.99 to $59.99.
Habitica
A game: you create an avatar and tasks earn gold and items. Parties let you team up with friends for accountability. Its listing has the lowest rating of the large audiences here, 4.3 from 3.5K.
Todoist
Not a habit tracker by its listing. Its sharing line is about work: share projects with anyone, assign tasks, set deadlines. Useful when your habits are really shared tasks, such as meal prep or errands.
Cozi
A family organizer: shared calendar, grocery list and to-do lists, with one family account everyone can open. It has the largest audience here, 400K ratings, and no habit streaks.
What a year costs
Better Us and HabitShare show no purchases on the listing at all. Daily Pact is the cheapest paid plan, $9.99 a year or $39.99 for life. Habitica’s subscription is $47.99 for 12 months, and Todoist Pro is $59.99 a year.
Sweatmates and Cozi print several prices for the same plan, so check which line you tap before you pay. If you would rather start on paper, a free printed 30-day habit tracker for two needs no account, and the general habit tracker printable works for one person.
