Holiday planning printables with a name on every job
Five holiday planning printables, Thanksgiving to Valentine’s Day: a hosting checklist, a holiday rotation, a family meeting agenda, new year goals for two and a coupon book. Each sheet says whose job is whose. All five print in US Letter and A4, free, with no email.

In short
Hosting the dinner: the Thanksgiving checklist, with a Christmas version. Two families who both want you: the holiday rotation, decided once for five years.
Too many jobs in December: the family meeting agenda. January: goals for two. February 14: a coupon book made in one evening.

When to print each sheet
The season for 2026 and 2027, sheet by sheet:
| When | Sheet | What it settles |
|---|---|---|
| By October 15 | Holiday rotation | Where you spend each holiday, and when both families hear the plan |
| November 12 | Thanksgiving checklist | The countdown starts 14 days before dinner on Thursday, November 26 |
| Every week of the season | Family meeting agenda | Who does what before next time, with a date |
| December 11 | Christmas version | The same countdown, 14 days before Friday, December 25 |
| Last days of December | Couples goals | Three shared goals, each with a first step and a Check on date |
| First week of February | Coupon book | Twelve coupons with a Use by line, ready for Sunday, February 14 |
October 15 is the date in the rotation sheet’s example, six weeks before Thanksgiving. The other dates are our suggestions, counted back from each holiday.
Planners list the jobs. These sheets name who does them.
Google’s AI summary for a holiday planner search names four sections: Budget & Gifting, Calendar & Events, Meals & Baking, Cards & Contacts. The planners at the top of the results are built the same way: lists of things.
Cozi, one of them, adds a line about the cooking plan: “The more people cooking, the more helpful it is to post a plan on the fridge for everyone to follow!” A plan everyone follows needs a name on each line. Here is where each sheet puts it:
- Thanksgiving checklist: Who on every task, Who brings it on every dish.
- Holiday rotation: Family A and Family B, so neither side is the default.
- Family meeting agenda: Who and By when on every task.
- Couples goals: Partner 1’s goals and Partner 2’s goals, with How you can help me under each.
- Coupon book: From, To and Use by on every coupon.
The checklist says it in its subtitle: “Two weeks to the table. Every task gets a day and a name, so the host isn’t the only one remembering.”
Questions people ask
What should I include on my holiday planner checklist?
A day for every task, counted back from the dinner, and a name next to it. Then a menu with who brings each dish, and a shopping list.
How to make a Christmas planner?
Start from the dinner and count back two weeks, as the Christmas version of the hosting checklist does. Where you spend the day is settled earlier, on the holiday rotation.
Where can I find a free printable planner?
Here: five sheets, free, with no email and no account. Each sheet’s own page has a PDF you can type into.
Do these work for holidays other than Thanksgiving and Christmas?
Yes. The rotation has two blank rows for holidays of your own, and the checklist has a blank twelfth row for your own task.
A job with a name and a day, kept in the app
In Alpacto, a row with a name and a date can become a task pact: one thing, done once, marked complete and confirmed by the other person. The pact holds the reminder, not one of you.
