Printable coupons for couples: love coupons, IOU cards and a reward menu
Four printable coupons for couples, and the bookkeeping that keeps them alive. Blank love coupons, IOU cards for what one of you already owes, a coin log with a reward menu, and sixty strips for a date night jar. Every sheet prints in US Letter and A4, and none asks for an email.

In short
A promise you are giving: a love coupon, with a line for the day it expires and a line for the day it was used. A promise you already owe: an IOU card.
Something to save towards: the coin log and the menu that says what the coins buy. An evening nobody has the energy to plan: the jar.
The four printable coupons for couples in this group
Love coupons
A coupon is a promise with four fields and two lines of bookkeeping: Use by, and Used on. The coupons are numbered 01 to 24, so “I still have number seven” means something months later.
IOU cards
Eight cards to a page, each 3.375 by 2.125 inches at full scale, with four lines to fill in: From, To, I owe you, By. The IOU sheet is for what one of you already owes, not for a gift.
Reward chart for adults
Two sheets that work as one. On the coin log every job gets a date, a number of coins and the signature of the person who checked it. The reward menu lists what those coins buy, at prices you set together first.
Date night jar
Sixty strips to cut out and fold into a jar. Each one shows its section, its cost as $, $$ or $$$, and how much planning it needs: Easy, Plan ahead or Big plan. A Big plan drawn on a Wednesday goes back for the weekend.
100 coupon ideas, the companion sheet
For when the blank coupon defeats you: a hundred small, doable ideas in ten sections, each with a box you tick once you have given it. Page two leaves six lines for ideas of your own.
A reward you agreed on is not a gift
A gift is a surprise, and the person giving it decides what it is worth. A reward has a price the two of you wrote on the menu before anyone started earning, which is why it can be asked for without it turning into a favor.
Coins are points you agreed to play with. They are not money, they do not convert to money, and nothing is taken away after a bad week: there are no fines anywhere in this set.
The signature line on the coin log carries more than it looks. It is signed by whoever checked the job, not by whoever did it, so “that counts” is a decision two people made rather than a claim one person filed.

The coin log: the Signature column belongs to whoever checked the job.
Why coupon books end up in a drawer
The usual ending is not a fight. The book is given, then admired, then put somewhere safe, and by summer neither of you can say which coupons were used. Every coupon here carries Use by and Used on, so the pile stays a list of promises with dates.
The numbering does the rest of that job. With coupons running 01 to 24, the one still owed has a name, and a promise with a name is harder to quietly drop.
The other two sheets fail differently, so they are built differently. The ideas sheet ticks off what you have already given, so nothing arrives twice. The jar strips show cost and effort on the face, so an evening is picked by what you can do tonight.

The love coupons example: a use-by date on every coupon, and four already spent.
Questions people ask
Where can I get free printable coupons?
From this group: each sheet downloads as blank pages in US Letter and A4, and every one except the date night jar also as a fillable PDF, with no email form, no account and no watermark. Each sheet’s own page shows its filled-in example.
What are some good coupons for couples?
The ones that can be redeemed without asking twice. A job the other person always ends up doing, an hour alone in the house, a meal cooked to their order. If nothing comes to mind, the companion sheet lists a hundred, sorted so you can find one for this week.
Where can I find a printable coupon template?
The blank love coupon is the template: four fields and the two dated lines, drawn to be filled in by hand at the kitchen table. If you would rather type, the same set comes as a fillable PDF.
How do I make a coupon book for my husband?
Print the coupons, cut them out, fold them and staple the stack into a book, then write a Good until date on the back cover so the book has an end. The same steps work for a wife, a partner or a friend. Our Valentine’s version pairs six ready-written coupons with six blanks, for a gift assembled in an evening; it also sits with the holiday planning printables.
When a promise needs a date
Paper holds a promise until somebody has to remember it. In Alpacto a coupon becomes a pact you both see: what was promised, what counts as done, the day it is due. Coins buy the rewards from a list the two of you wrote.
