Printable couple games for a night in, chosen by the kind of evening

These printable couple games are four card decks and one list, free to download with no email. Each deck holds 48 cards and prints its rules on page one. Three of the four end with a winner and a small prize: the next date night, the next takeout, tomorrow’s dessert.

Printable couple games on a table for two: the Couple Questions Game sheet, two stacks of blank question cards, a jar of cards and the Bucket List for Couples sheet

In short

A first game night or a long drive: the couple questions game, where one theme makes your partner guess your answer. Something to laugh at: would you rather, or truth or dare.

A slow talk with no score: the conversation cards, two or three a night. The year ahead: the bucket list, thirty lines with a date for when you finally did each one.

The five free printable couple games

Couple questions game

Four themes: Memories, Future, Everyday and Would You Know. On the last one your partner guesses your answer and keeps the card if right; more cards at the end picks the next date night. The deck and its rules.

Conversation cards for couples

Deeper questions in four themes, from Who We Are to Where We’re Going, with no score. No card asks about past relationships, cheating, illness or childhood trauma.

Would you rather for couples

Two harmless choices per card, guessed before they are answered; the first to keep ten chooses the next takeout. The deck prints from the would you rather questions page.

Truth or dare for couples

A pile of truths about the two of you and a pile of silly or kind dares; more completed cards picks tomorrow’s dessert. On the truth or dare page.

Bucket list for couples

The one sheet here that is not a game: thirty lines in six sections, from Adventures to Traditions, each with a Done on column. A Look back on date sits at the top, three photo frames at the bottom.

Each sheet has its own page with the downloads; would you rather and truth or dare print from their question pages.

Which deck for which evening

The last three columns are printed on the sheets themselves.

The conversation deck is the one for when something is on your mind. Its rules say “Two or three cards are plenty. Stop while it still feels good.”

Three decks print a pass rule, and the fourth has no wrong answers

The worry with a game for two is a card that goes somewhere you did not want to go tonight. Three decks settle it on page one:

  • Couple questions game: “Pass on any card you like. Nobody has to explain why.”
  • Truth or dare: “Pass on any card, no reason needed, and draw another.”
  • Conversation cards: “Skip any card, anytime. You can come back to it another day.”

Would you rather needs no such rule: its cards are “light, funny choices”, and its sixth rule reads “There are no wrong answers, only good follow-up questions.” These are printable couple games for adults with nothing explicit in them: no card is about sex, alcohol, exes or jealousy.

The prizes are small on purpose, and nobody pays anybody: the winner picks the takeout, both of you eat it.

Printing and cutting the cards

Each deck is five pages: a rules sheet with the deck cover and two blank cards, then four sheets of twelve cards, one theme per sheet. The cards are 2.5 inches square and sit edge to edge, so one cut serves two cards.

Print at 100%, with fit to page off. On A4 the cards keep their size; only the margins change.

The decks come in color and in black and white, the bucket list in three styles. Every sheet also has a fillable PDF for typing into the blank cards or the thirty lines before printing.

When a card turns into a plan

Each rules page ends on the same idea: a plan you both liked becomes a pact in Alpacto, with a date and a mark when it is done. A bucket list line works the same way. For something longer than one evening, there are 50 couple challenges with a period, a line for what counts as done and a reward.

What each sheet holds is taken from its own printed text: the rules, the themes, the rows, the card size. Checked against the finished files on September 24, 2026. No numbers about couples appear on this page. How we write these pages, without a named author: our methodology.
